
Nature Conservancy Magazine
Nature Conservancy magazine’s initial foray into digital publishing was essentially an electronic replica of the print magazine—a common way to move from print to digital, but a limited one. The new app honored the print magazine but also took full advantage of the tablet’s functionality, giving users more immersive opportunities to experience the beautiful places TNC helps to protect. Honored as a finalist at the Society of Publication Designers (SPD) Design Competition in the category of Best Tablet App. Other finalists in the category included Bon Appétit, Condé Nast Traveler, Fast Company, National Geographic and O, The Oprah Magazine.
